Yubari Melon KitKat
One of the things I miss about Japan is the different flavored KitKats. Yubari Melon is a cantaloupe farmed in Yūbari, Hokkaidō (northern Japan), a small town close to Sapporo. I bought the Yubari Melon KitKat during our last trip to Tokyo (late 2011) – not sure this is still available.
The KitKat is brown in color and it has a strong taste of cantaloupe or melon. Cantaloupe is not my favorite fruit and I am not sure combining this with chocolate is the best flavor. If you really like cantaloupe, maybe you will like it better.

I like Yubari melon. Do you know the city of Yubari has difficulty of management? The young governor from Tokyo is trying to rebuild the city hard.
Thanks for posting a comment … I hope Yubari is able to successful rebuild shortly.
