I Survived A Japanese Game Show: Season 2
Our whole family watched Season 2 of the ABC TV reality show called I Survived A Japanese Game Show, as we enjoyed Season 1 last summer. Apparently, Season 1 was a big winner at the 49th Rose d’Or Festival, one of Europe’s most prestigious TV honors, taking the prize as Best of 2009 (best show on television) as well as the Rose Trophy for best reality show.
This is a typical TV reality show, where one contestant gets eliminated every week with the winner taking home $250,000, it is quite funny and was filmed in the Tokyo area. While walking around our neighborhood one evening, we saw part of the final episode being taped in the Roppongi Hills Arena.
The two finalists (Cathy and Linda) were interviewed by the show’s host, Rome Kanda (Pink Panther, Saturday Night Live) and Judge Bob in this segment.
