Japan in the News: Japan Wins 2011 Women’s World Cup

All the Internets (Twitter, Facebook, blogs) was abuzz during the game and after Japan won the 2011 Women’s World Cup in dramatic fashion – a shootout!

  1. There’s an English teacher I used to work with that is very pro-American football, who enjoys putting down soccer in front of his Japanese students. I would have liked to see his reaction to Japan beating the U.S.
