Star Wars Celebration Japan: Cosplay

… continued from Star Wars Celebration Japan: The Vader Project.

One of the most popular post in this blog is the Star Wars Celebration Japan, written over 2 years ago.  One of my earliest blog post, it was short and contained only a few pictures so a new blog post to expand.

Below are some of the pictures I took people wearing different Star Wars costumes during the event.

Starwars27 Starwars21

Starwars23 Starwars28

Starwars29 Starwars18

Two more pictures of the Japanese Princess Leia with R2D2 and Jabba the Hutt.

Finally, even Darth Vader and the evil Emperor showed up at the show.

  1. Hi.

Was this cosplay recently in AKihabara?

I notice the construction going on in the background.

I am going to be getting a biker scout suit in the next month or two.

How do I contact the 501st in Japan?

    Thank you

    • Thanks for visiting my blog.

No, this was not held in Akihabara. This event was held two years ago (2008) at the Makuhari-Messe Convention Center in Chiba.

Sorry, I don’t know how to contact the 501th in Japan.
