Morinosuke Kawaguchi on Japanese toilets at TEDxTokyo

One of my earliest blog posts about Japan was Japanese toilets called washlets (posted over 2 years ago now!).

From Tokyo Mango, I found a YouTube video of Morinosuke Kawaguchi giving a talk at TEDxTokyo last weekend about this subject.  The video is a little long at 10 minutes, but it is worth watching because it not only covers Japanese toilets, but Japanese modern cultural aspects.  It is also funny – check it out.

  1. Very interesting blog. My compliments.

Truly love this Toilet talk, as it describes much of the unique Japanese expectations on customer service and consequently the need of local products.

    All the best in Japan,

Looks like you have been in Japan for quite awhile now and you also have an interesting blog about Japan and its unique culture. I’ll add you to my RSS reader and follow your blog postings as well.

      Great to know you (virtually)!
