Japanese Toilet Kneeler

In a previous blog post, I described the innovative Japanese Washlets.  The Land of the Rising Sun has done it once again, with a new product invented by House Doctor called the Angels Knee Pillow specifically designed for men to eliminate splashing when peeing.

You can buy it for only 5,800 yen (US$58).

An economy version, joined together, cost 4,800 yen (US$48).

  1. Actually, splashing is a major problem with toilet designs. My mother always complained about that when we were growing up, and I notice it a lot more now in the apartment here in Tokyo. It’s like the toilets are designed exactly wrong to maximize the possibility of splashing to occur, so rather than change the toilet design, they change the way we use the toilets…

    • I can’t help but laugh about this subject – that’s probably why I put it in my blog (seems that my blog is full of festival pictures). Anyway, thanks for commenting.
