Visa’s Expat’s Guide to Japan

A new handbook titled “The Expat’s Guide to Japan” was just recently made available by Visa to provide information for expatriates and their families who are currently residing, or planning to reside in Japan in the near future.  The book contains helpful information on living in Japan such as introductions to Japanese culture, lists of restaurants, schools, hospitals, immigration procedures and more.

The content of the book (PDF) is also downloadable from the web site. The guide is about 95 pages long and is actually pretty good – just ignore all the Visa logos and ads :-).

  1. Hello,

I work for the company that makes The Expat’s Guide on behalf of Visa, and just wanted to let you know that a new 2009-2010 version is now available.
Thanks so much for mentioning the book on your blog.
