Japan in the News: British Tourist Swims in Imperial Palace moat

A strange story earlier this week about a British tourist, living in Spain, who swam n@ked in a moat around the Imperial Palace.  This news story was widely covered locally on TV.  He was just released from police custody.

Local TV coverage on YouTube.

Finally, a picture I took earlier this year of the moat with the Nihonbashi bridge in the foreground around the Imperial Palace (in the background) during quieter times 🙂
