Sunshine City and Ice Cream City in Ikebukuro
Sunshine City is a building complex located in East Ikebukuro, Tokyo. The complex, which opened in 1978, contains the Sunshine 60 building, a museum, an aquarium and a planetarium. It also features a large indoor shopping mall, Namco NamjaTown, a convention center and theatre.
Namco NamjaTown is an indoor theme park in the Sunshine City shopping complex. It was opened in 1996 by Namco, a Japanese company best known for producing video games, and features themed dining, carnival-style games, a haunted house, and a line of character mascots exclusive to the park.
Inside NamjaTown is Ice Cream City …
… where you can find a store which sells exotic flavored ice cream such as Snake, Cow Tongue, Curry, Shark Fin, Squid and Octopus. You don’t believe me, here is a picture of Cow Tongue, yummy!
Or you can watch TokyoCooney trying to eat some of these ice creams in his YouTube video. It’s hilarious.
