Family Visitors

In the past few weeks, we have had some family visit us in Tokyo – my sister-in-law from Toronto who stayed with us and my wife’s nephew (who married a Japanese) from New York on business.

Living in Tokyo, we are far away from our families, who we are very close to – we do miss them terribly. So when family comes to visit, it is reminds of home. It also give us a chance to take them to places to visit in Japan, for example, we visited Hakone and Kamakura, plus of course, many places in Tokyo such as Shibuya, Harajuku, Akihabara, Imperial Palace, etc.

Anyway, both are now back to their respective homes so we are back to normal here in our home in Tokyo, until our next visitor arrives!
