Vending Machines in Japan

Japan is the land of the vending machines. You can find one or more in every corner and you can buy almost anything from a vending machine. How about beer? Well, of course …

You can buy drinks, ice cream, snacks, CD/DVDs, underwear (I haven’t seen one of these yet – I’ll take a picture when I do) and meals (fast food). For meals, you buy your meal ticket in the vending machine, take a seat, hand the ticket to the staff, who will then cook your order and give to you – very efficient, the food is hot and fresh.
