Shinjuku Night Lights
I had blogged about Shinjuku last year. It is one of the most popular and famous districts in Tokyo, Japan. This blog post is a pictorial of Shinjuku at night around the JR Shinjuku station. It is always challenging to take sharp pictures at night using a handheld camera.
South Exit – Takashimaya
West – Yodabashi, skyscraper district
East – Lumine Est
No north? You should have gone to Kabukicho
I have been to Kabukicho several times, but for some reason, I didn’t take any good pictures at night.
I spent a lot of time around Shinjuku when I first came to Japan, but lately it hasn’t really appealed to me for some reason. Maybe it’s a lack of money and time… Thanks for the photos, I may have to go back and hang out on the west side more…
Shinjuku seems to be a major hub in Tokyo so it is sometimes hard to avoid it
