Last weekend, our whole family enjoyed watching the Transformers movie on Blu-ray at home.
Last night, the World Premiere of the new Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen movie was held in Roppongi Hills in Tokyo, Japan. The film opens in Japan on June 19. All the stars (Megan Fox, Shia LaBeouf) and the director (Michael Bay) were in attendance as shown in this picture (taken by Jun Sato, courtesy of Japan Today) and YouTube video.
We were not able to attend as it was only for media and by special invitation. Below are some photos I took before and after the event.
I’d imagine the Japanese public would like the movie even more if there were transforming Toyotas and Hondas!
I read somewhere that they held the world premiere in Japan because this is the birth place of the Transformers (plus many other cool stuff)!
Is GM still going to make Camaros now that they are bankcrupt?
Looks like the event could have been cool. Wish I could have seen it. Oh well. I really need to get on a news service mailing list to get invitations to these events…
Me too
… seems that the best way is to work for the media or press.
Awesome, I havent been this excited for a domestic release in quite some time. Thanks for the insight coverage!
Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting, much appreciated. Hopefully, you’ll write a movie review about it on your blog.
