Sony Playstation Home
PlayStation Home finally opened worldwide on Thursday, December 11, 2008 after almost 2 years of delays. Playstation Home is a virtual world, similar to Second Life, for the gaming community. It is also free of charge.
We have a Playstation 3 (bought in Japan as I had blogged about earlier this year) so I’ll have to check this out soon.

Sony was also in the news earlier this week when it announced that it was trimming 4% of its work force, or 8,000 jobs, as the global downturn erodes profits, with another 8,000 temporary jobs cut worldwide.
