Similar to Aaron and his recent blog post, I have been enjoyed viewing video podcasts during my long daily commute to work using the Tokyo subways and trains.
Video podcasts are a new feature in the Apple iTunes store and I am currently subscribed to the following free podcasts:
- A-Z Guide to Modern Life
- Anderson Cooper 360
- G4 Attack of the Show
- CityNews (Toronto) Newscast
- The CNN Daily Video
- CNN In Case You Missed It
- Dilbert Animated Comics
- Discovery Space Podcast
- New York Times Video: Technology
- New York Times Video: World
- Videos from the US President Obama
- National Geographic Wild Chronicles
I have added and removed a few subscriptions already, as I tweek my list and my interest changes. As you can see, many are daily news. Most are short, bite sized podcasts, averaging about 5 minutes in length, except for Anderson Cooper 360, which is about 25 minutes.
Below is a short YouTube video promoting the Anderson Cooper 360 podcast.
